Forums - Gaming - Famitsu confirms Final Fantasy XIII-2′s Mass Effect DLC

VG247

According to Andriasang, the latest issue of Famitsu confirms earlier reports of Mass Effect-themed Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC.

The content doesn’t seem to be very weighty – a pair of costumes. Siliconera reports the DLC is due on March 27 in Japan, and allows both Noel and Serah to dress as Commander Shepard. There are no images yet so it’s not clear whether we’re talking about N7 armour or uniforms.

The cross-over isn’t unprecedented; Final Fantasy XIII-2 already has Assassin’s Creed costumes.

Another piece of DLC due on the same day adds in Ultros and Typhon from Final Fantasy VI as colosseum battles and recruitable party members.

Adding all sorts of DLCs to ensure sales improve in Japan , not that it will help since it is just costumes but I am sure fans of those who purchased the game and are having fun with it will enjoy this o.o.

To ensure sales improve in Japan? Why would they use Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed? They're doing this as an attempt to improve Western sales.

Holy shit Ultros. Any images?

it could be advertising for ME3, and AC in japan, by advertising it in Japan. The costumes so far have been amusing and overpriced... But, amusing XD.
