Well, are you looking to buy a blu-ray player?  That could make your decision easier right there...

I haven't read through all of the responses, but based on your OP, the fact that you like action/adventure and aren't interested in FPSs or Kinect, the answer is quite obvious to me... the PS3.

You did say you liked Fable, however, which I personally can't relate to because I don't.  But even taking that into consideration I can't imagine that being enough to sway your decision.  Along with a little Halo, the only 360 exclusives I personally care for are Alan Wake and Shadow Complex; and The Uncharted series alone runs circles around every 360 exclusive put together, IMO.  Factor in God of War 3 (and 1 &2, which run beautifully in GOW: Collection), and Metal Gear Solid 4 and the PS3 is a hands-down win for you.

Can't say that I'm too interested in Blu-Ray atm... It seems as if most ppl recomand the PS3 or the PC... Thinking about it it would make alot of sense to upgrade my PC since there's strategy games I love to play and I can get all the 3rd parties on the PC as well...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Based on your original post, I would recommend the PS3. Only because you said you didn't care about Halo and CoD. If those were your type of games, then the 360 is where you would go. Since you dont, PS3 is the way as it has a wide selection of games and genres that are covered by it that you will not find on other consoles. A sizeable selection of 360 console exclusives come out on PC, so if you have a PC you can get them anyway, although i am not sure how crappy your pc is.

I don't need to give you a list of PS3 games that are excellent, im sure people in this thread already told you and all that info is on the net. If you are looking for more diversity in your gaming, PS3 is definately the way to go.

For RPGs and Jrpgs easily the Xbox 360.

For Action Adventure Games its a Tie, on Ps3 you have Uncharted though wich is a big plus.

Best library is matter of opinion, for me 360 wins easily since i loved XBLA and its Exclusives and better multiplats, plus Xbox Live but for my brother per example he perfers Ps3 easily and he barely touches Xbox.

JRPG's are no longer larger in quantity on the 360. WRPG's yes, because of the PC ports, but then again most of those are still on the PS3.

Based on your tastes, the PS3 seems the most obvious one. You don't care for online, you don't care for halo and other fps's, so you will save at least $60 with PS3.

There are rpgs on PS3 as well, and action games like uncharted/god of war/infamous/ico&sotc/metal gear solid 4/heavy rain/ etc pretty much say PS3. You may like LBP as well (platformer)

360 is basically for online gamers who have friends on XBL or those who like halo. Remember that if you are not interested in online and buy the 360 without gold, you will never be able to try out the mp part of a game at all. Even as a trial.

Since you have a PC, most of the rpgs you are talking about are available on it anyway. ME 1 for eg doesn't work that well on the 360, but does work better on the PC. Without the need for an extraordinary PC.

@RPG Discussion:

I'd say its almost impossible to say which Console has more to offer in this Genre.

While the 360 has Great Exclusives like Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia (and, for what it is worth, Infine Undiscovery/Magna Carta,), the PS3 Offers all the niche titles made by Compile Heart, Nippon Ichi, and so on, Tales of Graces, plus every game that came for 360 and was released for PS3 afterwards, got additional Content free of charge on the black Box.

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

...and that means you are already twice as interested in the 3DS as either the 360 or PS3, because you can name two games for it.

Haha, yes very true! But I wanna play some of the HD games as well: I'm thinking of Batman, Mass Effect and the likes... But I can't decide on which console I wanna play them on :( It's up to the exclusives kinda

You might as well get yourself a better PC, because the games you want the most are available for the PC as well. Since people are already recommending that you should wait until the imminent price cut in case you go with the 360, buying one now doesn't seem to be your best option anyway. And the PS3's exclusives seem to be largely unknowns to you.

So upgrade your PC or get a new one. It usually also has the best versions of the games you want to play.

for some strange reason i find myself agreeing with Rol.

you may want to do your research before considering your purchase DaneSandin

Haha yeah, that's what I'm trying to do here! But it ain't doing to good :P an upgraded PC would have many benefits...

well this really isn't the type a thread that benifits finding out games and what not. this is the kind of thread were you'll kind basic info. i'll google a thread up for you, for a list of PS3 games.

it's don't every yr so one shouldn't be to hard to find, then again you may need an updated list though.

I recommend getting a PC, because its got pretty much the most important exclusives the 360 will ever have without being watered down. The PS3's exclusives can't be touched and is a great secondary to the PC. That way...you're not really missing out.

Hmm. Another thing to consider is the PS3/PC/PS Vita cross platform play, and PS Vita game transferring.
I know two game that does this already and its Portal 2 and Wipeout 2048, and soon Dust 514 will be joining it.
