Bring it to PC and watch it hit 2million within days.

2 million copies pirated, that's for sure :p.

I kid, it has potential, but not THAT much, it will get outpirated either way, not stealing per se, but making illegal copies of it and ripping the publisher off.

It's a great game, deserves every sale.

Bring it over Steam and at least 500k People will buy it.
Alan Wake sold a lot too - Probably sold more than the 360 Version before it went for cheap 1 week after release.

actually Alan Wake isn't anywhere close to 500k on steam. Anyone remember last year when valve actually released some info on the best selling steam games a few months after portal 2 came out. Anyway Terreria was around number 3 or 4 with around 650k sales. That game was number one or close to number one, for literally months. Alan Wake is no where to be seen on steams top 20 games and its only been a week since it came out. I doubt it sold 100k yet.

Terreria sold 432,000 in a month which isn't bad by any metric, it came out just over a month before that fade list was compiled. And has
since gone on to sell well over a million. But the real comparison is Skyrim as that is in the same genre, and that broke Steam sales reccords for the fastest selling game, tho no hard numbers have been released for that yet.

I imagine that Dark Souls would probably sell much better than Alan Wake. I could see Dark Souls PC as long as it is a decent port doing ~500k in a year or so with a couple good sales.

Tho I do agree that Alan Wake has not sold over 500k, it is probably closer than you think

in just a few months since the PC version was released the game went from ~1.5m to over 2m, tho I think that the 1.4m estimate was probably a bit low.
