Don't get addicted. I'm being completely serious. Limit your playtime to an hour or two a day.

how come? will it ruin my life if i play too much?

Yes. Assuming you have one that is.

Seconded.  It almost ruined mine.  Here are all the things that happened during the 1.5 years I played WoW:

I gained 35 pounds
My GPA went from a 3.8 to a 3.0
My Girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me

but hey, I got tons of epic gear while I raided with the top guild on my server in the high end instances... that's worth something... right?  Well no, it wasn't.  Not in the end.   When I quit the game I took the pounds back off, got back together with my gf, and my GPA is back up to nearer where it should be.  WoW literally almost ruined my life though.

Horde/ Priest/ Troll

Hope I answered correct heh

Those answer the questions, yes. Please, please let me help you decide on what to do.

For example: are you sure you know what your roles will be with this particular class?

Do you care more about PvP, more about PvE, or a mix of both?  75/25 PvP/PvE?  Vice versa?

i like pvp..was thinking of doing just straight healer with priest and tank for tuaren warrior.

what do you think i should do?

troll priest....eww.  reroll undead or bloodelf now, the power of christ condemns you!  goddamnit, i'm this close to starting my account back up again...i officially hate you for this.

Don't do it!  Stay strong!*resists starting up old Shaman.*  I think we need a support group for former WoW players...

if it wasn't for the fact my computer literally died i never would have been able to quit.  i just have to keep in mind, i didn't restart because life was better after i quit.  life is better without a full outfit of shiny purples.   god i miss my priest, even my mage.  grrrrrrrrrrrr

First of all, Weezy, others are right: this game is extremely addictive. However, I've personally been addicted to 3-4 different games (I played TFC and Starcraft back in the day just as obsessively), so removing WoW didn't help me much.

As others have noted, Troll isn't the best option for PvP as a priest, although it isn't laughably bad either, and is good for PvE.

If you absolutely want the best combination possible, roll Undead, if you can stand the way it looks and feels. It is indisputably the best PvP priest Horde side.

But I would say that if you plan on playing quite a bit, don't roll Undead unelss you're really comfortable with it. It sounds superficial to my ears, but it just lessens the fun when you think the character you're looking at all day long is ugly. I personally greatly prefer the way Undead look, so that wouldn't be a personal problem for me.

Also, I'm on Korgath, PvP, US. You're welcome to join me, but I will caution that there is 0 chance I can get you into my guild and that the server is particularly "hardcore," with absurd people who take the game way too seriously (which, despite my days played, I do not).

It took an even more dramatic event than that to make me quit... my guild leader robbed the guild bank and switched servers.   The entire guild bank.  Tens of thousands of gold, epics, and materials.  Then, as if it wasn't bad enough, he logged into the accounts of the class leaders, who he had the account info of, sold EVERY piece of gear they had, and mailed the gold to his account.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), I was the Shaman class leader.  Of course, Blizzard wouldn't refund anything because we gave out our account info and it was our fault.  Everything I had worked for... every character's gear... all of it was gone.  I was left with a naked shaman that I had put 180 days into in a year and a half.  I had no choice but to quit if I wanted to retain my sanity.  Turns out it was a great decision.

Seriously MMO's are bad for your life.

I played RS for ~5 years, 2001-2006, although I managed to keep some semblance of life during those years my life has undoubtably improved since I quit.
WoW is even worse than that. I know a person who spent literally ~19 hours per day playing WoW. It shouldn't be possible =$

alright who ever is down to start a new character go to DragonMaw PvP

Holla at ScoopNine or FeedMeSeymor

I think im getting excited and i just cant hide it.

I am WEEzY. You can suck my Nintendo loving BALLS!

Oh, and if your guild was anything like mine, you might as well join the military if you are going to join a raiding guild.  I was the class leader of the Shamans, so I would be given orders over Vent, and bark orders to my "troops" over vent in turn.  Everything would be done with precision.  If you make a mistake, you were basically dishonorably discharged.  Raiding spots were competitive.  If you went out for a drink with some friends one Friday night, guess what?  Your spot may be gone for good when you get back.  Ugh, so many horrible memories among the good ones...
