Earlier today Kalypso Media published a press release for Demonicon and guess what it carries a text indirectly stating that next generation console (PS4 and Xbox 720) will launch in Q1 of 2013.

Check out the text that features in a press release for Demonicon below.

"Today, Kalypso Media is pleased to release new screenshots which illustrate the darkness that permeates the world of Demonicon, the action-RPG set for release on PC and next generation consoles in Q1 2013."

Yes you read it right, it states next generation consoles in first quater of 2013. This text from Kalypso might be refering to Wii U but that extra "S" in the word CONSOLES raises many eyebrows.

However, I'd still peg a PS4 in Holiday 2013, but an early release of the neXtBox I can see happening.

Found a solid source on their website. I think Kalypso Media is just stupidly referring to PS360 as 'next generation' consoles. lol.

I could see Microsoft pushing the launch of the 720 forward as much as possible to stop Nintendo from getting a head start. Sony, on the other hand... not really. The PS4 will be released late 2013 and I'd be glad if the European launch doesn't slip into early 2014 to be honest.

I wonder if any of the two is actually ready to enter next generation. If we see lots of big new Xbox360 games at e3 and still get confirmation of a 720 launch in early 2013 we can safely conclude that Microsoft will somewhat rush the launch to compete with Nintendo. That's exactly what I expect Microsoft to do.

Looked for the press release on German websites for you, because I think that Kalypso is a German publisher. While their press release wasn't directly quoted, no site has been going gaga over it like you. The following link at least lists the platforms the game will be released on.
