Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia expects Grand Theft Auto V to release during early 2013, which he feels will not only provide Rockstar with time for extra polishing, but also give the firm a “potential” window in which to launch the game on Wii U.

Will for sure boost sales! It still won't help Nintendo's image as a "kiddy" company though.

As long as they really do have 11 Nintendo published games coming out I am sure that this will not be a problem. Also did you see most of the Demos at last years E3? They were mostly casual experiences. Golfing and other fun little things. I do not think there will be a problem.

Yes, I have. At least Nintendo is getting Ninja Gaiden and Ghost Recon. That should show that they can capture the "mature" audience.

Well of course it has to sell! But getting the game is the first step.

would be a complete horror if GTA V does not come to Wii U

i mean the controller fits perfect for GPS and other stuff

I think most of the 3rd party titles that are confirmed right now are mostly T for teen or higher. Or they are racing games, which are not cute games or casual, but they are not adult either. Should be good.

The only problem I see with this mentality is that most of the confirmed titles are multiplatform. It might look better on the WiiU but that doesn't mean it will make it a seller. They need some 3rd party exclusives (which I'm hoping will be revealed at e3).

Me too. It would be cool if Nintendo did some paying to get certain games exclusive to the Wii U. xD

Makes sense. I think it'd be a disaster if it doesn't come to WiiU, the controller seems like a natural fit for the map when driving, a selection of weapons and missions on the go.

And it'll help sales of course.
