Happy Squirrel Unreal3 never appeared on Wii. When it was built it was made for next generation platforms and Epic never intended it to be comparable with last generation systems or even recent computers the engine was intended to push the new generation and it did.
Epic recently talked about how they pressured Microsoft to upgrade the original 360's hardware to run Unreal3. They were alluding to that occurring again after they stated the Samaritan demo required about ten times the power of 360. It is very doubtful that if WiiU is truly only 2x the power of 360 that it could possibly run Unreal4. Heck lets say that its 5x the power as IGN alluded a while back. That's still half the power required to run the Samaritan demo.
That would mean Nintendo's machine couldn't possibly run Epics new content.
My bet is that a new Unreal3.5 will launch with WiiU much like I know Wii received some titles using the 2.5 engine. iOS and Android devices will likely use the 3.5 engine as well. Epic bringing some of its own software is doubtful given Epics history with Nintendo.

I was going to say I think it will fail, and fail hard. Which is the consensus I have been getting from most discussions.
But then as I replied to this, I remember I thought the same thing about the Wii, and at the time the consensus was similar.... look how that turned out
So im just gonna keep my big mouth shut this time :)

No doubt all of us in this thread want it to do well. What I want to see more than anything is for the Nintendo name to be more hardcore this time around.
