On other forums this problem is solved by having the mods be pony fans. The fastest way to get banned on the Starcraft site teamliquid.net is to troll the pony thread.

I'm surprised that none of the fans in this thread are mods to be honest- for the most part, we're calm, sensible and friendly- great mod material imo.

I think there's more to being a mod. That's not to say that no one in this thread could be a mod, but I don't know that all of us are cut out for it just because we're calm, sensible, and friendly. I think for some of us (me specifically), we aren't active enough on the rest of the site to even be considered.

Besides, I was actually surprised back when Axum took over for Machina by the number of mods, and he said that the number they have now actually is pretty good, considering how much work they do. They could probably use a few more, but I'm sure they'll make the right decision when they need to.

I'm seriously feeling the off-season blues. Fan comics and music has really seemed to slow down. Much lower than what it seemed to be a few months ago :(

I think it's everyone doing exams.
