This is going to be awesome: I'm going to E3, and I'll be putting a lot of ponies on my Vita to watch on the plane. How rad is that?!

No need to be jealous, you can do the same, just use a laptop or sometithing! the screen is better, anyway

I have no idea if this will help in any way, but you could always try something from here... I seem to remember having to jump through similar hoops to get videos to work on the PSP.

ffmpeg should do all the conversions. I don't trust shareware.

If it's MKV, don't transcode it, see if you can re-wrap it in an acceptable container format (no loss of quality).

Exam today went very, very badly. Went from 95% in high school exams to 35% in university exams. I want to punch my tutor who said it's impossible to fail if you do all the work, I've handed in everything on time and been doing 50-hour revising weeks to no effect.

I was never able to get FFMPEG to run on Windows (at one point i was entertaining the fancy of cracking open the 3DS for videos. Internet said i needed a unix emulator to run it in...
