I completely agree, at least they're not half pony half humans. They probably did this to avoid racial issues like "why are all the characters white". =P

If that is the movie, as the Tumblr claims, then it's possible Twilight's wings are restricted to the S3 finale and will not be permanent.

None of them have their peripheral features, though. No horns or wings on any of them.
