I didn't like it much (good comedy though), but I think the internet will like it a lot. Same as Hurricane Fluttershy.

According to my stat tracker I like 29% of the episodes aired. So, not really. But other TV shows are worse.

Well, that was...

Cheesy. I said it, the episode was really cheesy. But you know what? That's okay. I didn't mind it. For one, I now don't mind quite as much how Discord changed Fluttershy in the S2 opener, because now we see that she sees things differently than the other ponies. She was able to change him where the others would have failed, and Discord failed to realize that. (Of course, he could have just forced her to change again... but repetitiveness isn't very chaotic, I suppose.)

Fluttershy was adorable. God she was adorable. Mr Khan, I'm not sure what you felt was off about Libman's performance. Maybe I just forgot everything during the break, but I thought it was good.

Discord was the reason the episode felt cheesy. Why? Well... his transition from... himself to a more "human" like character. I suppose this is part of me judging the show based on outward appearances. I would expect an evil villain to be redeemed in some fashion like this. It's different than Nightmare Moon, because Luna was sort of posessed by this evil force, and changed back to herself at the end. Discord is still essentially the same; he just changed for friendship. But hell, I'm impressed at the message they managed to get out of it. It's actually a pretty good one, and I didn't feel like I was beaten over the head with it.

Overall, an enjoyable episode. Fluttershy, stop being so cute.

Today's episode premise was (unconfirmed) written by a 15 year old. (This name did appear on the Story By credit)

Fluttershy never sounded as soft as usual, even with lines that i felt would have merited a more meek demeanor, which makes her less adorable than might otherwise have been the case.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I liked the episode - one of the better ones this season and overall imo :)

Very cheesy premise to the whole thing but carried out very well despite it. Nice way of bringing back a fan favourite without repeating the original story around him. Wonder if we'll be seeing any more of Discord in the future, I for one would be quite happy to see him being treated in a similar way to Luna now, whereby he isn't too important but still has a role in Equestria.
