I'm waiting for the HD version to be uploaded, can't seem to find it any where at the moment.

Meh, I felt like the "Bad Seed" song was very well performed but it just didn't keep my interest. The Aesop was fine, although "tell your mothers" felt corny even accounting for the fact that it was the wrap up of a moral lesson. Pinkie Pie had some of the best moments in the episode IMO with stealing Spike's scent-trail and "leave". Not to say that I felt the Crusaders were lacking. In fact, just as I was worried that the introductory scene in the clubhouse was about to get completely out of hand and make me dislike the scene, they came up with a very reasonable idea instead.

One bit of Fridge Logic that struck me, though, was that if they could make the second float like that, why not simply take it to the parade and not give her the chance to hijack or break it? The "build another float" idea was only rejected because she would ruin it again, but she never would have had the chance if they didn't specifically take the time to let her.

Honestly, I wonder if they couldn't have done the episode differently: if the clubhouse being stolen finally made them go to Applejack, then Babs gets her comeuppance, Applejack lets them know they should have come to her sooner, they make up (with the more guilty party apologizing first!), and then they make up and make the second float together and go in the parade. Happy happy joy joy. Maybe a scene with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon with Babs repudiating them, or maybe just have them looking jealously at the float and Babs looking back.

The song was very repetitive. If the chorus sounded different to the verse/intro I would have liked it.

The way I figure it, a spoiler tag is reasonable when it's the same day as the episode's airing. People may well be on VGC and haven't seen the episode yet. After that day, though, it's the internet. Dumbledore dies.

And yeah I guess the repetition was a big part of why I wasn't a fan of the song ... both the song and video were repetitive. 

Your second idea would have avoided the awesome A-Team sequence, though.

I really enjoyed this episode -  the song was good, the plot was as good as any other CMC episode imo, and Pinkie was well portrayed. It also had an awesome a-team reference xD So yeah, probably my favourite of S3 so far.

Yes. 

I liked seeing the CMC again. The very first time I saw them, I was sure that I'd hate them... but they've really grown on me over the course of the show. Sweetie Belle is still best CMC. 

Pinkie Pie was great for the short time she was in the episode. 

The song was catchy and cute, but it was repetitive. They showed the same scene for the chorus like four times. Still, I didn't mind it. I think it's my favourite song out of all the ones we've had so far this season. Also, that head bobbing at the beginning. So adorable. 

Final-Fan, the float thing didn't actually bother me. If I was a kid, I wouldn't have thought of doing that. It's not that it's super clever, I just don't like doing things at the last moment, and so I would never think of doing such a large project right before the event. 

The induction of Babs at the end made me think of Finding Nemo. I have no idea why. Shark Bait Ooh ha ha! 

I'm for spoiler tags for the day of the episode, and none after that. Just in case maybe someone hasn't seen the episode yet and clicks on the thread, not thinking that there could be spoilers for that episode.
