Forums - General Discussion - VGChartz's Official My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic thread!

Definitely :D One thing though- I swear they never say "love and tolerate" in the show at any point; where did that phrase even come from? xD

It came about when people were trolling the show on /co/ and /b/ and the fans wanted to live up to the message of the show (specifically, to show kindness to and acceptance of others). At least, I think that's where it started. I could be wrong.

In other news, this thread has almost reached 200 replies! I feel that the larger the thread, the more people will think "even VGChartz has a pretty large fan thread for this show- I guess I should try it out" :P

You're welcome! Unless I am wrong, in which case, I apologize.

Of course, then they'll look at the thread and see that it's just a few of us posting a whole lot.

(By the way, you might want to update the OP with the most recent episode.)

Also, because I want to post something pony related, please enjoy this picture of Celestia and Luna, Calvin and Hobbes style.

News! I'm sure some of you saw this, as it's from yesterday, but Equestria Daily went to a showing of the finale. Here's the link to their post about it. There aren't any spoilers, don't worry. Here's the important parts...

"On the other end of the spectrum, all of The Hub's foalks really loved us.  We talked to whole assortment of them from different levels in the company, and they were all completely ecstatic.  A few of them actually visit EQD every few hours just to catch up on what the community is up to.  It's not often the top tiers in a company actually explore fan sites for fun.  Needless to say, it was awesome to see how excited they are about us, and promise a ton of cool stuff in the future dedicated to bronydom, including a few hints at some cool merch even beyond the upcoming Scratch/Trixie/Nightmare Moon/Zecora sets.

I'm sure you are all curious about the actual screening of the episode though! For the sake of spoilers, the only thing I can say is that it is seriously the most epic two part we have received so far. Back to back, it feels like a Lion King style high budget Disney movie. I'm really glad we won't have to wait a week between the two when they both air on the 21st. That's all I'm saying though!"

TL;DR - The Hub loves us and promises new pony stuff, and the finale is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Oh, and Tara loves her "brony army" on Twitter. And apparently makes them sing this to get an autograph.

I'm done with Wallpapers for a week so here are three last ones for awhile....

Fun fact the bars took double the time that tail did for RD..

Former something....

@Blacksaber: Nicely done, as always. I do like how your RD one turned out, especially.

Also, the Pinkie Pie theme for Fighting is Magic is out now. Also done by Whitetail.

For me, there are parts that I like, and it is appropriately energetic, but some parts bothered me (like the sax, which just doesn't sound quite right).

I downloaded the entire soundtrack of the first two seasons. I'm especially fond of "At the Gala" and "smile" so good at lifting my spirits when I'm in a crummy mood.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

I like the Pinkie Pie theme - suits the character well :)

+Blacksaber: Those wallpapers are insane xD How long does it take to make them?
