For a show that tries to promote things like kindness and loyalty, Celestia does seem to have some rather major character flaws when you look at her history with Luna.
I love coming here, it soothes my rage after having another cruddy Final Fantasy XIII side game shoved down my throat. Seeing Luna in front of that fan made me squee.

No no no, you guys got it wrong. It's not because I'm ignorant of the fact Celestia is a faulty character that makes me like her. The fact that her existence his one gigantic plot hole is what makes her probably the greatest thing in a show ever. She's an unintentional troll!

Oh I wasn't suggesting that you were ignorant, I was just musing on how the all-powerful leader of Equestria that watches over everything is actually not necessarily the nicest person.
Also, @ that video....I think Celestia probably does have a moon cannon.

On the contrary, she is SUCH a troll that she arranged it to be that way. She also allowed herself to be defeated by Chrysalis just to make fans' head asplode and to make Twilight and the bride and groom do all the work.
