It was you suggesting I write a fanfic that explained why Luna was stronger that made me think about this idea actually. I wanted to fill the plotholes left for that part of the story. The other two parts explain that as well (they cover how Luna and Celestia came to be in charge of the Sun and the Moon, how Luna became Nightmare Moon (and why Nightmare Moon is more powerful than Luna), why Celestia only banished Nightmare Moon rather than changing her back into Luna despite being said to have access to the Elements of Harmony, why the Element of Magic was missing whilst the others were still there and why the original (I assume Canterlot seeing as Luna states that is where she is from) was destroyed in the second episode).

That is probably a better idea than my original one (to do it part by part), I'll focus on the Prologue and Chapter 1, I want this to be really good so more people than just us lot can appreciate it.

Also, since Discord is in this I would really appreciate some chaotic ideas, it's actually pretty hard to come up with things for him to do but I don't want him acting normally purely because I can't come up with ideas personally.

My fic is about something similar. It's about how Celestia and Luna were created.

Aww man, that's a 10-11 hour drive for me :(. Maybe if I didn't have to go to school or work I'd go, but I'm kind of out of options

Aww  phewi.You can always get sick! Really really sick... for a weekend at least.

 

I drove and stayed in St. Paul for two weeks. Beautiful little place. Friendliest people over there. The drive was like 16 hours including stops. I can't ask you to drive that distance. Thanks for the reply at least.

I'm just across the PA border. I have relatives who live in Cleveland, Akron, and Twinsburg (though i haven't been to see the Twinsburg folks since elementary school)

That's actually pretty darn close. I hit the borders in two hours flat from here. Howdy neighbor! Let's see how this develops and maybe we can get a little crew going. The convention is in about 35 days.

It's on a Friday -through Sunday, meaning you have the whole weekend before you can get back to school. I have school and work too. I already mentioned to my boss that I'll need the late September weekend off.

where do you live? Is it an impossible trip for? Trust me it will be worth it. There's no way you won't have fun with me there. You can finally spend some time with folks who are passionate about the show like we are at the convention. Heck, if you are all of age, drinks on me the same Friday night! It helps that I know my way around the area.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but highly unlikely. I live in North Carolina, just under the VA border. I would certainly like to, I wanted to go to a MLP convention, but the couple of bronies I know in real life were busy, the bastards >__>. 

Also, I'm sadly underage :(
