I don't do things by halves haha, still, I have time today (assuming I aren't bossed around by my mum) so I'll probably get on it soon.

And you're right, there isn't really that many episodes which are genuinely emotional. As to the S1 vs. S2 I enjoyed both just as much as each other and since I watched them in one long go I don't really see a "separation" point between them. That said, I did find that series 2 had less of a tendency to show all the ponies in an episode and at times I found some ponies weren't getting that much attention. It was fine for some of the ponies but when ones like Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy weren't getting much screen time for a few episodes in a row I found it slightly annoying.

Oh yea, I don't suppose anypony knows where I can download high-ish quality MLP episodes? I am going on holiday a week Saturday and the idea of being ponyless for a week isn't going down well (it's no where exciting, I'm not that obsessed haha). Also, I'll be around what appears to be an open-minded non-brony friend so it seems like a great opportunity to get another recruit to the herd.
