Doctor Whooves is apparently now Dr. Hooves. I guess that's the closest they could get and not get into trouble. Link. I never really cared much for the character, since I've never seen Doctor Who, but I'm sure plenty of people are excited. I don't know if this is actually true either, or if it's just a joke. But it seems legit.

Of course, this means all the people who love Derpy/Doctor shipping are going to go completely nuts.

Dr. Hooves stood out to me very early because of his hourglass cutie mark. In all honesty it was Derpy who would have gone unnoticed to me if it weren't for the internet buzz on her character.

Honestly, and I might get some heat for this, I never cared for Derpy.

You're not alone. I don't dislike Derpy, but she's not my favourite. I don't think I would have paid any attention to any of the background characters had they not become so popular online, in all honesty. And I don't like any of them nearly as much as the mane 6.

Dr Hooves was always my favourite background character - I sometimes forget that there's people out there that haven't watched Dr Who though :o

It would have been Dj-P0n3 for me. She was in what 4 seconds in one episode? I watched a season and a half before I even knew that I missed her. At least Derpy is in all of them >__>
