I'm glad others aren't too excited about Hearth's Warming Eve. I see people everywhere who say they loved it. And it wasn't terrible, but I didn't care for it a whole bunch. Plus, the song is among my least favourites. You gotta share/care being the other song that I really don't care for.

MMDW was eh. I didn't hate it, but I really disliked how the rest of the mane 6 made Dash feel terrible and tell her she was a horrible person. I guess sometimes people need that, but I'd have rather seen her figure it out for herself. She didn't really learn anything.

Family Appreciation Day was another one that was alright. Nothing really stuck out to me, but I didn't hate it.

Putting Your Hoof Down was enjoyable, but at the same time, we ended up with the same Fluttershy we started out with. She learned to be assertive, took it too far, then backed off. I much prefer Hurricane Fluttershy.

But you see, Fluttershy did develop from that episode.

Okay, there was some. I actually forgot about that scene.

But I still don't like Putting Your Hoof Down as much as Hurricane Fluttershy. Partly because we've seen that sort of development before. Way back in Dragonshy, Fluttershy learned how to be overcome her fear of Dragons and stand up for her friends. Now she learned how to overcome her fear of hurting her friends' feelings enough to say no. In Hurricane Fluttershy, she again learned how to overcome a fear, fear of being bullied. The first two seem fairly similar to me (learning how to stand up for yourself and others), but the last one actually explains why she struggles so much with being assertive.

But mostly, I like it for this scene here (Don't watch if you haven't seen S2E22);

How can you hate Fluttershy and her episodes is beyond me. I love her episodes!

I loved the finale for season one!

This fad is growing stronger and stronger. I might have to check out what the fuss is all about but I'm scared I'll get hooked like you guys.

Also, does anybody else think the art style of this cartoon is reminiscent of Happy Tree Friends?
