definitely! I haven't listened to that in like two days. Maybe that's why I've been so bored.

I remember looking at the post count for this thread back when it had ~300 posts and I wondered if it'd be possible to reach the 1000 post milestone.

The dedication of all you guys have allowed this thread to be placed among the best in the entire forum! May this community continue to thrive and grow long into the future :)

Pinkie Pie is my favorite Pony since a few weeks ago. Rarity will always hold a special place in my heart as my #2

Congrats on 1,000 posts! I just listened to the yay song as well, for the first time. It was a bit annoying at first but after a few minutes it has grown on me. :)

Rarity and Pinkie keep switching up and down as my favorite, even though they have almost nothing in common.

That's funny - Pinkie Pie moved up to my 2nd favourite pony fairly recently. Maybe Rainbow Dash has been knocked off the top spot? xD

Pinkie Pie is still my least favorite. :P

I don't dislike any of them since they are all great characters, but I don't understand all the Pinkie Pie love.

So I found out last night that Discord was voiced by the legendary John De Lancie  who played Q from Star Trek! How amazing! I was personally blown away. So being the curious person I am (and the John De Lancie fan I am) I did research to see what John's reaction was to the brony phenomenom. 

Boy, is his story interesting. It started off as confusing he said. It was 3 months after voicing for Discord. He had completely forgotten about it til then.  He said he checked his email to find that his in-box had over four hundred emails with titles like  'My Little Pony'. He had fan reactions from Israel, Saudi Arabia, UK, etc etc. He admitted that he initially felt it was strange or weird that a show for little girls was being embraced by grown men and teenagers. However he didn't judge the community until he understood them. 

Some time later he was at a convention (I think it was a Star Trek convention). It was Q&A time, and again, the MLP thing was a thing in the past for him. The very first question was about Discord! The panel was confused, and John took a brief second to explain to his friend that he did a little voice acting for a cartoon called My Little Pony. The second question was again about MLP. John De Lancie -shocked- decided that he finally wanted to learn more about this brony 'Fandom' as he likes to call.  

After another similar Q&A incident, he attended Bronycon not long ago. Here he implies that he's finally come around to watching MLP by appearing on stage with a "Brony" t-shirt. Yes this elderly man, went from a confused individual who stumbled upon this great phenomenom now embraces the community, says the world needs more people like bronies, and becomes a brony himself.

John De Lancie (Discord if you haven't figured it out yet) is now working on a documentary about what he considers one of the greatest communities out there. His motivation to making this documentary was that he was disgusted by a recent news story that tried to display bronies as this ugly, perverted community. John does not want to give the media the chance to paint an ugly image of the brony community. His documentary's goal is for people to see bronies as the great people they are. He wants their real image to be displayed.
