..because...the other graphs were a timed alignment based on the actual time it's been out. It seems, you've instead shrunk the difference between the global launches. So, whereas the other graph shows that psv is doing better AT THE MOMENT, yours is showing that comparitively OVER TIME it is doing worse....

Which makes the point of the thread is that a person can make a graph showing anything depending on their agendas.

... you have that backwards. This one if pure data. No agenda at all. It shows how the PS Vita is doing in each separate region against the PSP. Likewise it shows how it is doing globally with each region lined up to give a fair comparison.

The other graph wasn't a timed alignment based on actual time it's been out at all. It was aligned based on how long it and the psp had been out in Japan. 

If you want you are welcome to believe the othe graph is a good representation however just wait till the Vita hits 4 and 10 months on that style of chart. Suddenly it will look even worse as it will be comparing normal monthly sales against launch sales.

As Rol pointed out the graphs on the main page are for a large part for global Vita sales against Japan only PSP sales......

I remember a bunch of sheep that put that in their sigs.  Good thing I finally wised up and disabled sigs considering almost every person's sig on this site is annoying.

Its agenda because yes while these are launch aligned comparisons, it doesnt change the fact that vita has sold more than pspover an UNADJUSTED period. The other graphs are actaully more factually accurate as they have not undergone a single manupulation.
yes manipulations are fine in graphs, but it is taken together with the fact that each manipulation tells a different story.
there are no right and wrong graphs because different sides of the same dice is still the same die, just different meanings.

Very good charts Kowenicki. It would be nice to see weekly, you should also mention what Rol said while leading up to the Holidays.

I think Sony released the Vita prematurely, as the PSP was still dominating in Japan. And in the West, people didn't even really get into the PSP in the first place, so you can't expect much there for Vita. PSP already held its own in terms of graphical power, so there wasn't much need to release a MORE powerful handheld. I guess the two joysticks is a pretty big improvement but aside from that there isn't much of a reason for people to opt for the Vita over the PSP.

A dedication that wavers depending on the tide it seems.

It's the most annoying....
