Forums - Sony - Keiji Inafune confirms work on Vita project

VG247

Keiji Inafune has confirmed he is working on a new PlayStation Vita title, but refused to disclose any more details on it.

The former Capcom R&D boss, who initially teased he was working on a game for the handheld at GDC yesterday, said it’d be an “amazing” project and describing it as “Inafune-like”.

No more details were given, but it sounds like Sony could be publishing it. Get the video of him talking about the title below.

Thanks, Andriasang.

His game better turn out to be pretty damn good and well marketed to give Vita more breathing space. The 3DS is getting a new Monster Hunter plus a new 2D Mario game, that´s one hell of a duo combo in Japan.

Megaman Legends 3 - except megamanless

Who is he, what has he created so far?

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

^Oh, just Megaman. @OT. They're probably giving him a ton a money, he had a funny grin I found.

Megaman is a pretty big deal, but I wouldn't really call it a system seller (maybe I'm wrong though)

Not that OT has anything to do with Megaman per se, Megaman is a video game icon. Not a system seller, but especially in the NES days was a pretty fundamental IP for the platform. Still important in the SNES/PSX days with Megaman X but less and less as it went.

He took new importance on GBA/DS with Battle Network and Megaman Zero games. But yeah he's a gaming icon more than anything, and an important IP during NES days.

I hope it's something like this:

Colorful and fun!
