Forums - General - The Question Game

Maybe I am a bit to old school but I think the whole package is the most important thing Face,Personality and a proportional body.

Do you see yourself as a Stereotype? (any kind of Stereotype)

I'm a gamer with a family I guess ;)

Do you believe something will happen this year that'll change the way we live on the whole earth?

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

No, he had little to no talent. 2nd worst actor ever, after Steven Seagal ;)

After watching Quantic Dream's tech demo, would you buy that robot for sex?

No. That makes a man an animal.

Would you consider being religious if you found a religion that makes perfect sense?

A religion that makes perfect sense is able to prove anything it claims. That already exists and it's called science, doesn't it?

If you could travel to the past and change one single action of your life, what would you do? Do you think your life would be better now?

I would travel 4 years back ´, and make me not cheat on my Girlfriend with her sister, my life wouldn´t be any diferent but at least I could look her and her parents in the eye.

Have you ever cried while watching a movie, watching a TV show or playing a game?

What really astonishes me is that among the legions of people with your science-groupie attitude, only a handful are actually what can be called 'a scientist'. You are having faith in something that isn't nearly as grand as you assume; Simply because you see complicated things you do not understand, you assume a level of sophistication that you really have no justification for.

There really isn't much seperating you from the legions who blindly follow some religious process whom you so eagerly condemn.

And my reaction is most certainly provoked. I asked a simple, straightforward question which a 10 year old would be able to answer directly.

I didn't intend to provoke or getting personal by any means. Your reaction really surprises me, I don't understand why my answer made you so mad.

Look, I don't know more about science than the average guy I guess and of course everything could be a lie because I can't really know if everything they tell is true, because I can't prove it by myself. But there are people who are much more intelligent than me who make research on certain things and I do trust them more than any religion that was basically made to obtain power and manipulate people. I'm not having faith on things that haven't been proved, and I realize there's a lot of things that haven't been explained (yet) and maybe we'll never be able to figure out. There's space to make your own theories about certain topics but as long as there's no proof I won't believe any guy's guesses or religions.

I hope you understand what I mean, I'm not a native speaker.

@AndrewWK

I don't know if I actually cried, but if not I was closed to a few times. The last time I almost cried was by the ending of the 4th season of Dexter. (Kudos to the writer who had the BALLS to make that ending, which fit perfectly to what Dexter is)

Do you read books? What kind of?

Yes, currently "Nineteen Eighty-four". Set in 1984 (duh), it's a science-fiction book from late 1940's about how the government control how people may and may not live their lives or even think. Highly recommended: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nineteen_Eighty-Four#Plot
