From what I have hear from a few friends that work in the industry(one in EA and the other in Ubisoft) Nintendo has very HEAVY Non-Disclousure Agreements this time around, to the point that Ubisoft was able to announce that they were working on a Wii U version of Assassin's Creed 3, but not show anything from it, in a similar fashion EA is working on some games for the console and even if we just assume the classic yearly sports games, they have not shown anything at all (you know that FIFA, Madden and maybe other sport 2013 version will come to the Wii U).

Same applies for version of third party games that are confirmed for the console, Aliens, Ninja Gaiden 3, Darksiders 2, we know that those games are comming but the companies have not shown even a single image of the game for Wii U, or any of the ideas they are implementing for the controller.

Yeah, the NDA is pretty strong around this console.  It's like if Nintendo never announced it.  Devs are not allowed to put a Wii U logo in their trailers,  They can't show any pictures of the Wii U version.  Each time I listen to an interview, they are very evasive.  No Wii U at major vidya events (in public at least).  No official information about the console.  I guess you're right, the NDA is REALLY strong.

That's why I think all the performance rumors are fake.  The NDA is so strong this time, I really doubt Nintendo would allow that.

I'm pretty sure we won't have ANY information until E3.  In the meantime, we will only have rumors from anonymous sources, which are totally unreliable.  We have less than two months to wait.  I'm sure Nintendo won't disappoint us.

Paper Mario is my most anticipated game for the 3DS. I hope they have a special 3DS when it releases, give me more of a reason to buy a 3DS.

That aside, if the NDA is so heavy, we can expect a lot of news come E3, which will make this E3 probably the best in years. It literally cannot come soon enough.

I also can't wait for E3. Wii U is the perfect console for me as a "mid-core gamer".

same here, I was kind of expecting for some details, pics something... XD 

i'm not wrapped on the wii u yet, i just don't like tablets :( and with the romours that it isn't even as powerfull as the ps360, it just make's it even harder :/

Everyone talking about Nd A's Nintendo has a ton up their sleeves that they are holding close to their chest. Nintendo knows its competitors will adapt their next Gen consoles to better compete with Nintendo. Imagine Nintendo explained the Wiimote in 2004 we would have likely seen Move day one on PS3 and Nintendo could have had a harder time. Nintendo knows both MS and Sony have already sent out kits and let developers know the basic direction. They want to hold back their secrets till E3. This way Microsoft and Sony won't likely have the time to implement Nintendo's tech. I also don't think Nintendo had the final graphical power decided till a month ago or so. Nintendo is probably hiding specs from even its third party partners we didn't know the full power of the Wii or its capabilities till right near E3. Developers didn't even know the full capabilities till a few months prior to release.

I am betting Nintendo is going.to hold the real specs and features top secret till E3. Nintendo will likely give us some more info during the NOA financial briefing but they will only tell us the bare minimum till the hardware is ready for a full unveil. Expect Nintendo to own E3 this year like they did with Wii and 3DS!
