What old franchise should Nintendo revive first on the Wii U?

Star Fox 220 47.31%

F-Zero 110 23.66%

Wave Race 29 6.24%

Top-Down Zelda 55 11.83%

Show me the results. 28 6.02%

Total:442

I sincerely hope they don`t go on a arms race this time... it`s not going to be good for our pockets.

With shovelware it depends, if they keep using old assets from the times of N64 like Crusi'n, i don`t think they will need to sell a lot.
I hope this time Nintendo really does something about that.

@DélioPT _ Let's face the truth. It doesn't matter if dev. costs are the same or double, game prices will go up, DLC will be omnipresent and online pass will be the norm. Everything to milk us even more.

Of course it's in our hands to allow them to do it, but so far the messages that "we" (as a whole) have sent them it that no matter what they do, lots of people will buy their games.

The "hope" is that, as you said, smartphone/tablet games are making that some of those called casuals that gave publishers free money forget about consoles, so their market is shrinking and they will need new sources of income. And there comes the WiiU!

@spurgeonryan_ I can only agree.

Please excuse my bad English.

@ JEMC: Prepared to be milked! :D I mean :(

Graphics =/= Gameplay. Though having graphics is nice and all, if you want graphics than get a PC. Games that have look great on the Wii have proven that you can deliver wonderful graphics if you work with the system instead of porting straight from another console.

Okay, here's a Youtube video explaining the current or rumored specs of the Wii U against the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Extra proof of the Wii U release date

IGN has jumped on the bandwagon by sharing the above photo of an e-mail from a GameStop manager. This manager is talking about the release of the Wii U.

But they ignore the fact that the original rumour is the manager’s source of their information. Plenty of sites reported on it as if it had a shred of credibility, so it’s not hard to believe a manager was misled, and yet the report ignores this obvious fact. As I’ve said before, don’t believe it, and be more skeptical.

Here's EDGE's teaser for next month's issue:

This coincides with Nintendo's Financial meeting on April 26, where we'll be sure to get some new Wii U info... will EDGE blow off the lid for Wii U?

They had this aswell: "We profile Ubisoft's Jade Raymond and Supergiant Games, head back to Nintendo's Wuhu Island and eulogise about Tetris' most powerful tetromino: the long block"
http://www.edge-online.com/magazine/e240

That explains the Mii.
Something`s cooking!

@ We'll have to keep an eye on that!

Off-topic: That Mii is of  Miyamoto? It's horrible!

Nintendo's secret weapon for Wii U? A Haptic Touchscreen? It seems that rumors are flying that the Wii U Tablet will have Haptic Screen Technology. To add to this an E3 booth revealed this. Put simply, this touchscreen actually allows you to feel different textures, such as grass or hard metal. Remember what developers said when Nintendo had more to reveal?

God, if this is true, then think about the games that it could support. Screw graphics man!
