Well the good news here is that since it's Treyarch there's a very good chance we'll get it for the Wii U at launch as well, since they were the only ones to support the Wii with their iterations of COD over the years.

I skipped the first BO as well as MW3, but I actually enjoyed WAW despite the game going back to the WWII theater again. Multiplayer was good, and I liked the fact that you could use tanks as well.

Not to be a douche, because I do like Treyarch, I just dont want people thinking they did this out of the kindness of their hearts, they were mandated by Activision to do so. Just throwing it out there

Well I can understand that, since Activision has the final say what Treyarch does or doesn't put out versions of their games for.  But it did seem like Treyarch went out of their way to make the Wii versions as close to their HD brethren as humanly possible.  They could easily have just phoned it in with buggy, stripped down multiplayer and a crappy tacked-on control scheme or something.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Well to be fair, thats kinda what they did with COD3 on WIi, that game was phoned it, from what i hear.  But they got better, I wouldnt say they went out of there way, they are just doing they best they can with what is available, in a perfect world, thats what everyone should do

Never played it but everyone says 3 was (arguably) the worst in the series, so that really doesn't surprise me either.  Plus it was a launch title for Wii.. and there were ALOT of bad shooters at the Wii's launch, like the ambitious but ultimately underwhelming Red Steel, or the god awful Far Cry port Vengeance.

Treyarch > Infinity Ward. That being said, I'm probably gonna skip CoD for good now.

ugh, Far Cry, I was looking forward to that one after buying it for PC

Yearly Call of Duty coming November?

updated: 14.01.2012

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

Man i hate to burst your bubble but not many people care about COD nowadays they just get it because they want to play with their friends. When i was younger i looked forward to the day my parents would let me buy COD but now i can i dont want one neither have i ever owned one. COD is just the same game nowadays but with different maps.

Wait... does this mean im not human?

I hate to burst your bubble (Which in turn was bursting someone else's bubble), but the yearly COD's still sell 20+ million each year. Modern Warfare 3 is on track to pass Black Ops (BO sold 27.28 million games, while MW3 sold 25,65 games and is still going strong). Sure, people want it to play with their friends, but that doesn't mean they don't care about it.

I have all of the Call of Duty games on the 360 and I'm really looking forward to the next one this year. I must say that I enjoyed Black Ops more the Modern Warfare 3. I think it was the whole buying what you wanted and not having to worry about unlocking attachments and such. Also I liked the maps more. All of this is what really kept me playing it. The ranking up system was quicker as well and with my patience, or lack there of, that was a good thing. Don't get me wrong, I think MW3 is pretty good, I'm talking about the multiplayer online, but it's not the greatest.
