Right, I didn't give my own text a second look. MH4 will be a timed exclusive at the very least and even then it would do a lot of damage to Sony's handheld.

But based on current facts (no MH announced for Vita whatsoever), everything points to true MH exclusivity for Nintendo.

I would love to see MH exclusivity for lifetime on Nintendo's systems but I doubt that'll happen. Unless Capcom gets bribed.

B/W2 will release in June in Japan, so a Generation VI release on the 3DS is still possible to happen during the next fiscal year (ending in March 2013), at least in Japan. Naturally, it's probably not going to be announced before B/W2 is released.

Nintendo's main battle is in Japan, so they'll try to stagger the releases of their 3DS games as best as possible instead of having long droughts without any big games. Given the situation the Vita is in, the 3DS can be in cruise mode right now, so the Japanese release schedule for the next four months is sufficient. The Vita is not going to gear up until the second half of 2012 and that's when Nintendo plans to release Super Mario Bros. 3DS and who knows, perhaps Monster Hunter 4 is ready by then too. This, along with the countless smaller releases, would be enough to fend off the Vita for the year and spring 2013 would have Pokémon Generation VI.

Spring 2013 means Black and White 2 won't even last for one whole year. At the earliest, Gen VI will probably release June 2014 to keep up the 2 year trend. (Platinum and Black/White released 2008 and 2010)

Agree with everything else though.

HG/SS released around a year before the release of Black and White.

HG/SS isn't a main Pokemon or Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum type game though. There could be a Hoen remake in 2013 for Japan, though.

I'd suggest that it's very likely that Capcom have already been paid big money already, otherwise they would surely have claimed that they're working on a Vita MH, or that they were thinking about making one. That's not to say that it was enough money to keep it exclusive for good though :o

Well since a new gen is made every 4 years, will not see Gen VI before 2014 on Japan, with RSE remakes should appear only in 2016, since the remakes are alaways made with an existing engine, or they made RSE remakes for NDS to release next year or they only made it when the Gen VI engine is done on 3DS, and they allaways let the double versions of main series games (not the remakes) live 2 years before another game so, if there will be RSE remakes it will be next year for NDS or in 2016 with the engine of GEn 6 on 3ds

I'm surprised people though GameFreak would release a main type game on the 3DS, when they are notorious for adopting new tech slowly into the series. They no doubt want at least another 12 months to get used to the idea of making a 3D game let alone one that features 3D battles.
