People will be so surprised about this game.
This is going to be freaking amazing... expanding a region. Unova is already packed with locales but they'll put more! Lot more.

Can't wait!
BTW, Black and White graphics are still freaking beautiful... so this game will have amazing visuals too.

I just want to point out something. We do not know what features B/W 2 will be using on the 3DS yet. Also, if anybody buys a new system for it, they will be buying the 3DS instead of the DS. Also consideringhow crazy Japan is with mobile devices, these features alone could sell the 3DS.

@JayWood2010 True, people will buy a DS to play Pokemon. People will buy a 3DS to play Pokemon.

I would like it if it's a bit different from the third versions we always had. This time we're getting two. It will be interesting to see what's new in the new versions and what's different between the two new versions.

 Yes, a new Pokemon (or a remastered old one) would sell 3DS hardware and all of us would have liked to see Nintendo make use of the 3DS's hardware capabilities and make Pokemon a fabulous experience. However, this would ignoring the huge base of potential sales waiting out there on the DS. From a financial view (especially with Nintendo's recent financial situation) it would be downright ludicrous to ignore this base; not to mention the existing 3DS fanbase are still included as a potential sales base thanks to BC (as well as some alleged 'enhancements'). 

 I guess my (and most others') disappointment stems from the fact that this title could be so much more spectacular had it taken advantage of all of the 3DS's capabilities. Being a PC gamer, I suppose I'm more well equipped to deal with this sort of disappointment than others, and really at the end of the day those of us who enjoy these Pokemon RPG's will happily be spending countless hours traversing this world. In celebration of this fact and this announcement, I present my newest avatar tomfoolery.

The thing is though that, like D/P, it would really raise the sales for the weeks following it's initial release date. It would also raise the 3DS's overall sales for the year. It is a win win situation that Nintendo decided not to take. By putting out a Pokemon Game for the 3DS they get more money, then the 3DS' owners are happy because they have something to play over the Summer. Nintendo is either too lazy or they are blind to see the advantages of putting it on the 3DS.

Black/White was the worst selling new gen. Pokemon game by 4m

and Black/White 2 will sell much much worse, i think Black/White are something like FF13 and FF13-2, a big decrease in the series success

I think it's because of that, 3DS profit, that Nintendo is not putting BW2 on 3DS, it'll boost to much 3ds sales, imagine how much loss they'll get XD since Nintendo expect only to start getting profit on any 3DS unit sold by the end of September

The 3DS still costs more, bringing in more money. It doesn't matter either which way, though. The better decision would have been to make it for 3DS.

I don't quite understand. Any 3DS sold means eventual profit as you pretty much have to buy at least one software title (DS or 3DS) for it.
