Forums - Sony - Good Vita Review from Spiegel Online

ROFL
spiegel online...
what a bullshit, everything is crap, sorry.
i can't believe what lol
unbelievable,
pure populism
lol engineers who have thought of everything, just not how to fill the unit with life. Damn engineers, they were incapable to create software,... **shakes head**
and the logic is manic:
"Because the engineers of the Vita hardware didn't think of how to fill the Vita with life (games, or what the f..) it will be the last of its kind before tablets and mobile phones take the market entirely"
what t... f... are they smoking
... for the last of its kind..BS...omg and relying on statistics of RELATIVE mobile market share. sry

oh and i read the whole article (i'm german) and its not a Good Review, neither positive about Vita nor well written and zero logic.

"Sony has with the Vita showed courage and stood against the trend of the times: The device is a solid processed games machine that has everything you need players - for example, a reasonable way to control even the most demanding games, which for pure touch devices only . seldom well succeed, it is a device that can hopefully fill the still unfulfilled promise soon to life's great that the CV has offered to start a large variety of games -. also exists when the major part of popular brands and Play delivers. only one thing: one reason why it should necessarily have a unique selling point, a brilliant idea - as they did with the Nintendo 3D screen.

Vita is the work of engineers who have thought of everything, just not how you want to fill the unit with life. And that's what she could do the last of its kind. For the last pure games console before smart phones and tablet computers finally take over the mobile gaming market. "

Not the best translation but I think it is basically saying its a great piece of kit and a fine last hurrah before mobiles (phone and tablets) finally kill of handhelds.

Thanks. It is actually lauding Sony for trying to attempt a dedicated gaming handheld and that it is a great piece of technology, BUT does not offer a compelling reason for purchase.

It then states that the device was created by ENGINEERS, and that it will be hard thus to fill it with life.

That to me means it is the OPPOSITE of what the iPad/ iPhone is, as they were NOT created by engineers but by user / marketing specialists. ANd that is the reason why the Vita will ultimately fail.

Let me take a guess and say that you think the 3DS is also made by market specialists.

No, by a toy maker

I'm just kidding. I just think this article is BS, and is proven BS by the success of Nintendo.

Just because Vita also has similar capabilities to iOS, android, it doesn't mean that it is really any different from 3ds.
