Okay, this is kind of big, but it seems that Big W, K Mart and Target, who are major Supermarket stores in Australia won’t be stocking the Vita.

This information was revealed by a Neogaf member, who phoned these stores and confirmed the news. Apparently, the reason given was that the Vita is too expensive.

The PSP Go had to endure the same thing , and it was possibly due to the digital prices, and mainly due to the lack of a UMD drive.

We will keep you updated once we get more information on this.

Waaaait a minute. Pretty sure those stores stocked the 3DS back when it launched for $350AUD here. What a load of bull.

This is very bad news for anyone wanting to price match, since Big W usually has the best price on games.

Maybe worth noting, another Australian retailer is not stocking the Vita, well the 3G version that is.
