500k orders? I wonder how much it'll sell of that. It might take awhile to reach that mark if it has a lackluster opening. Then again there are a lot of One Piece fans...

AFAIK One Piece is the manga with biggest sales ever, so it's not that strange that it sells a lot of games in Japan.

This could do pretty huge numbers. Maybe even a million as the brand is absolutely huge in Japan at the moment (each volume of manga pushes over 3 million copies). When I visited Japan during the summer you would find One Piece related products everywhere. Cloths shops had small own section for One Piece clothes, there was section for One Piece cups in other shops etc.
