Anybody elses thinks there should be a wii version

yeap.....there SHOULD be a Wii version, but most likely it won't be...... :(

I've clocked in hundreds of hours in Soul Blade. Since then, I've loved Soul Calibur I, II, & III.

I am also a huge Star Wars fan. I even loved the prequels.

With that said.......
THIS IS WRONG!! Soul Calibur IV was already a day 1 purchase for me. Merging these two worlds together hurts the credibility of both. Oh well, at least there's solace in the fact that a Star Wars fighter was such a good idea, and was executed so well in the past (PS1 Masters of Tera Kasi)..........wait a minute. That game sucked!

This worries me. A lot.

If the amount of effort the developers put into selecting characters who actually fit is any indication - and by selecting Vader and Yoda I can only surmise the sum-total of that effort: zero - then I'd be very, very worried about the gameplay.

And you can argue all you want about whether or not Link, Spawn and Heihachi fit better, but they did. Link for one already comes from a game where a magical sword - the Master Sword - is a dominant feature of the game and Heihachi is of course one of the flagship characters from Namco' other fighting franchise, Tekken.

Anyone who watched the clip would also have seen the part where Ivy hits her opponent with a bright energy blast thing. I can only hope - and I mean this as sarcastically as possible - that it was Force Lightning.

And yes, I am bitter. Soul Calibur 3 was a glitch-ridden mess when it was released in the US and the sheer brokeness of the US version turned off a lot of former Soul Calibur 2 players. I'm from Australia, so we got the PAL version, but there were STILL game breaking glitches in that. For those in the know, I am of referring to things like Mitsu's 88B VC, although it isn't the only thing that I could point out.

Well, if they have to be separate, I'm at least glad I get Yoda in my version.

wow i really try not to be rude too often but come on dude...

a LONG TIME AGO in a galaxy far far away....

Here's a video from my band's last show Check out more (bigger) videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/icemanout

A long time ago, Avalach21? Where did you get this information? Surely, there's some kind of link. LOL!

It's funny. There seem to be just as many (if not more) people insulted and turned off by this as there are who like it. The ones who like it seem to be the ones who never liked SC in the first place, and were hoping for a lightsaber battle fighting game (which it turned out was impossible). I'm all for a lightsaber battle fighting game. I think it would be extremely awesome to make one (especially if they made it for all 3 one), but I still think this is just plain stupid. It really does make both Lucasarts and Namco look ridiculous.

I think the "they don't fit" people are forgetting about Spawn.

Not necessarily. I played the shit out of SC on the Dreamcast and this intrigues me.

I'd also like to point out that if Yoda and Vader are actually in the storyline of SC4, that's pretty lame.

If they're unlockable characters you use in freeplay, cool. But they shouldn't actually be a part of the single player "campaign" (or whatever they call the story mode in fighters).

Honestly, I don't see why anyone would be upset if the characters are just unlockable and available in free play.
