Hahaha, I won with my two week old prediction. Fingers crossed I'll do better next year and remember to predict for every race. It was a great race, Vettel and Hamilton were dicing the whole time, very entertaining.

Placeholder:

1 - Webber
2 - Alonso
3 - Hamilton

DNF - Schumacher

Any bonus points for predicting the Championship winner?

Just a fun "out there" prediction. Vettel will come 9th after getting a puncture and will lose the Championship by 3 points.

yes well done, you had hamilton wish i had, shows to just get a prediction in whenever, they both drove well in the after show they showed how karthikayan messed up vettel really which allowed hamilton to get so close

mmm not sure about bonus,i'm trying to beat jono and kowen here but good idea to do at the beginning of next season it could trigger some bonus points at the end maybe, well i know who is interested now so will give a heads up if we do it next season

any one of them could have a dnf or bad luck,it might make them drive different maybe, should be good

Yeah, it would be a bit too predictable at the end as it's usually only a two horse race or just a procession near the end of the Championship. Putting it in at the start would be a great idea.

a sell out on sunday they say, close to mexico who have a lot of fans and people fyling in for the new GP track they reckon so thats good, they haven't really given me a birdseye view o fthe track but no doubt see it over the weekend

If it is sold out it is probably more due to Americans and other foreigners than Mexicans.  Just saying... Probably not too many rich Mexicans coming up to help sell it out.  I just think your assumption is off.

that's what the telly people said not me,

formula 1 isn't for poor people though anyway but they were probably talking about perez fans.it won't get any closer than austin texas if mexicans want to see him,i assume there are quite a lot of mexicans in the usa down there, but again i wouldn't really know

Well looks like I was a little wrong about my assumption.  After mentioning to my friend he confirmed that Perez fans showed up on Sunday in decent numbers decked out in their country colors, etc.  They didn't show up too much during Friday/Saturday but on race day they showed up in decent numbers.

yes i was pretty sure mexico like their formula 1,i know it is a big area but austin is as close as they can get right now,i can't imagine mexico will have to wait long for a GP of their own as the country is pretty big and getting richer

Austin GP should grow quite well if it can stay their permanently and get a foothold for F1 in the usa,i will definitely pay a visit one day that's for sure

Ooops, been busy so haven't been able to predict, it was most certainly a great race in Texas and the best of the new circuits. Hamilton's win was certainly overdue.

What are your opinions on the Sergio Perez? Lost his talent, got lucky with tyre management, or overconfident since his McLaren announcement?

Telmex's involvement and drivers like Perez and Gutierrez will be great promoters of a Mexican event and for example I feel a street circuit such as in Mexico City would be the wrong approach.

would you prefer they made a purpose built F1 track then i guess,to cement F1 in mexico rather than a street race

Seems to be a lot of violence in Sao Paulo at the moment, as police clean up the gangs.
Not sure where Interlagos is in relevance to the battleground but heard some drivers has voiced concerns over safety.
