Why did I change my prediction!!! Oh well Sergio Perez drove very well and Fernando Alonso is doing well bringing a struggling Ferrari forward. Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel didn't do particularly well though.

They would have ended ahead of their team mates. Blame HRT for being so mind bogglingly slow they can't help but eventually collide with one.

I'm surprised no one went for the dry tires before, half of the time you can't trust weather prediction 5 minutes ahead in time, lol.

Anyways... nice job Alonso. Also, so far Grosjean and Massa have been massive disappointments.

Might I add that I got tired of the same drivers doing well but this season is one of the closest for a while. Great to see Sergio Perez 5th in the standings, I just hope he wins a race this year.

Grosjean not necessarely, well actually, he is, but at least it seams to me that he can qualify and get a good start. He has to temper himself. He must feel like a fool for being the only one to spin himself out of the race.

On the race, the Ferrary was obviously slower in the dry, but in the wet it was good. I would have liked for Perez to get a good chance at overtaking Alonso (he got one but did not have the necessary top speed). Perez would have had to take the risk of going off the dry line with the slicks to overtake Alonso, but we did not get the chance to see him attempt that. My question is, can the Saubers qualify higher?

I hoped better for Kobayashi seing how well the Sauber was going under Perez. He had a break problem it seams, but even so, he did not seam too sure of himself in the wet.

Ehm... 2010? in the last race there were 4 championship contenders..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Anyways, after the first two races it's still hard to see where the teams and the drivers stand, but if the last laps on the dry mean something...:

- Räikkönen's race pace on the dry is blistering; he was the fastest car on hard tyres.
- Schumacher was actually pretty good, a tenth or so off Hamilton's times. Rosberg, on the other hand, still struggles with the tyres.
- Ferrari sucks, Williams and Sauber finally got some good cars.

If I was to bet on a hierarchy for the next race, setting aside driver's skills, setups and weather, it would be:

McLaren = Lotus > Red Bull = Mercedes > Williams = Sauber = Ferrari > Force India = Toro Rosso

rainbow keeps saying this and l'd suggest he doesn't know how lucky he is if he thinks the last rew years is boring in F1,i've been watching for many years,i remember james hunt, bernie has done pretty well getting F1 into shape i think,

@haxxy good analysis i think ferrari are better than where you have them,it will be good to see what happens in the next few races, raikkonen said he wants a normal hot dry race to see where he is,lotus & mercedes look like they can podium to me if they get it right

Those consisted of Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren. This year has opened up to the midfield teams.

Right from the start I predicted Sergio Perez would be in Ferrari for 2013, this looks likely to be true.

Sky Sports' considerations for upcoming tracks: http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1/news/22058/7646358/Where-next-for-F1-

looking forward to the China GP. I hate these "breaks" they have. I got a feeling RedBull have changed alot on there car and will be competing with the Mclarens. Ferarri wouldnt have changed much but we now know they are going to completely copy Saubers side pods, Back end and exhaust layout soon.
