modnation has the same control scheme as mario kart? how so?

beyond that a major part of modnation is building karts, characters and tracks... didn't mario kart 3ds recently add a feature to switch parts on karts that was never done in the series before?

Wasn't talking about MNR was talking about the LBP karting game, although i think it's only a rumour about the control scheme to be honest.

Apart from being arcade-type racing games, I think Mario Kart and MNR were completely different entities.

If LBP Karting uses the ModNation control scheme, I wouldn't mind as I thought it to be a very great one.

Odd that they would do that. I mean, yes, LBP's branding is stronger than ModNation's, but not so strong as to justify this. It would be like Nintendo re-theming F-Zero with StarFox characters. I mean, yes they could, but the added hook isn't really strong enough

Funny that you say that, because Nintendo kinda did that already. James McCloud (you know, Fox's father) controls the Little Wyvern.

Also, Mario Kart 64's Rainbow Road was used in F-Zero X and in exchange Mario Kart Wii received the Blue Falcon. Now that is cross-promotion of games.

Also the ending for StarFox Command where Fox and Falco leave to go join the "G-Zero Racing League"

I dont know about that you will probably be able to create your own levels and share them with the world, play and race other peoples levels and beat there time, challenge, battle and customize everything since that is what Little Big Planet is about i know you could some of those things in Modnation but Kart racing in Little Big Planet would be awesome maybe take it to a whole new level.
