I did the equation in my head: IT"S OVER 9'000!!!!!!!

Nothing specifically, I just want to see what it's capable of and the features. A refined, more powerful, more feature packed PS3 is music to my ears. I don't want anything drastically different.

something that has PS1/2 as concept

maybe that GOW David Jaffe was going to do. that would be awesome to see.

more create play share, continued innovation, exclusives of every genre dev. by 1st and second party studios, 2 to 8G of RAM. Crytec and Epic asked for this from both MS and Sony next gen systems. i'm sure their is good reason for it.

There's no way that can be right!!!!!!

xD

Better Graphics: NO JAGGIES (I don't care which resolution they use), perfect shadows, better textures and better character/stage modelling.

User interface: Hopefully they will make it updateable; because even though the XMB is really easy to use, and by the time it was released was good looking; now it looks a bit outdated :|

PSN: It would be awesome for most people if they integrate in a good way... PS HOME with the UI and the social apps on the PS4. I wouldn't use them, but LOTS of people would really enjoy those kind of things, which means more sales. And yeah, cross media chat lol.

GAMES: As long as Sony keeps developing those amazing AAA first party games; and gets all the other multiplatforms games, I will be really happy. Also I think that Sony´s "Worldwide Studios" can help SE to develop the REMAKE of FF VII. Sony´s studios are really talented, so I think that if they cooperate with each other they could remake FFVII. ALSO: BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY VIA EMULATION!!! so that we can have better graphics :D

Console appearance: All Sony devices look sleek and futuristic, so I dont worry about that.

Release date: Christmas 2013

Sony needs to keep Blu-Ray
, but increase the readable speeds of the discs to allow things to be quicker. I fully expect next gen to be the last generation of physical media game consoles. With that said next gen still needs to have physical media. Faster Blu-Ray tech will do just nicely.

Drop the physical backwards compatibility with PS1, there is almost 150 titles on the PlayStation Store, make a bigger push for that. At this point there have been 3 PlayStation home consoles that can play PS1 games. It isn't a selling factor anymore. Especially since everything is now playing PS1 games.

PStore as the one stop shop for everything. While physical media needs to stay around for one more generation, there needs to be a stronger push to bring the digital realm to the gaming industry in an effective console way. Games, Movies, TV Shows (complete series), Music, Comics, Books, Magazines. What I want to have is a virtual PStore. PlayStation Home integration would be nice. Using your Home avatar to walk around a virtual PlayStation Store (it would be an optional view-layout. PStore already allows you to change the style in which you view content on there. This would just be another/much more detailed layout)

Trophy Room: This was promised ages ago and never happened. This would be a one up on the existing trophies and achievements lists. Giant 3D representations of your accomplishments would be a great selling point. While I don't know why Sony canned it before, it should happen. Give the gamers further reason to have bragging rights. Also allow anyone to view the Trophy Room. Whether they are friends or not.

Dual Shock 4, PlayStation Move Advanced, Experia Phones, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Tablets support: With everything Sony now playing everything Sony I don't understand why there wouldn't be support to use the aforementioned devices as controllers. Turn the PS4 on with the Vita and transfer the content from the TV to the Vita screen or vise versa. How about having the PS4 running a movie and you have a Vita and PlayStation S/P tablet on in different rooms of the house watching the same movie, just on a different screen?

What about playing LittleBigPlanet Express and moving from the PS4 (after saving to the PSN Cloud), leaving the house, getting on a plane, pulling out the PlayStation Tablet Z (not an existing product) and continue playing, once the plane lands, you save the game to the PSN Cloud again, as your leaving the airport you get a notification that someone has requested to play with you on a level you just uploaded roughly 5 hours ago on your Experia Play 2, you accept the request and get into a cab, you pull out the Vita and play with the newcomer for about 15 minutes or so and you quit out of the game, you see an advert go by that reminds you that you never downloaded the episodes of the Hellsing anime you wanted to watch when you got back home after your business trip, you go to the PStore (on your Vita) and find the Hellsing episodes, the store says your Vita memory card is to full to download all the selected episodes and then asks if you wanted to download the episodes to your PlayStation 4 at home since your PlayStation Z Tablet also doesn't have the required space for all selected content.

Once the downloads finish you get notified on your Experia phone. Once done you can then leave your PS4 on at the house and watch the content on your PlayStation Z Tablet through an app available on the PStore that allows you to play content on your PlayStation console through the internet.

I've got quite a few more ideas, but again I run into an article that is probably to long for anyone to actually read all the way through.
