OMG, Gran Turismo 5 > Uncharted 3! And bad numbers for RE:R in Europe, thats sad.

i wouldn't say bad, they are ok

Europe largely depends on 2nd and 3rd week

66k for that Resident Evil? Dude, it looks awesome and recieved a lot of nice reviews... but sold 66k first week in whole europe? For the first week, i think its sad. But if what you are saying is true, if it manage to sell better in 2nd and 3rd week, awesome!

Those numbers aren’t for a whole one week so that why they are so low

Sorry but Nintendo report not showed that... the Europe for Nintendo is one and Europe for VGC is another (different tracked countries).

The only thing the Nintendo report showed for us is the the YoY compared with last year...

PS3 ~ 4.9 M (+ 6%)
Wii ~ 4.0 M (- 23%)
360 ~ 3.7 M (flat)

The VGC shows:

PS3 +8%
Wii -26%
X360 flat

Seems ok.

That's also true for almost every other game in Europe so not really a reason. But, if the game is good, expect some nice legs.

True that but still full week sales are more than half of it so yeah that was my point anyway

Gap back below 3 million. While that's great for the PS3, it will probably remain last throughout 2012 & 2013 with a slim possibility of reaching 2nd place after the next gen has already begun. The machine is great for games, but Sony really needs to restructure its business model for the future, although I'm thinking Kaz is the right man for the job.

Not quite, another 150k to go before it's below 3m.

I think it's unpredictable when PS3 will overtake, they have really solid Q3's and MS's are weak in comparison. If Sony get a decent holiday to go with it (Vs. 360) they can really chip away at the gap.
