Oh interesting. I thought X360 would have bigger advantage.

At least this gives a fair chance for PS3 to outsell X360 for a fiscal year.

But MS has a different Fiscal year that starts from September.

That's not Microsoft's fiscal year.

I think DS will never outsell PS2, what a king PS2 is lol.

I also, like many other people believe MS overshipped in december by more then 1 million. November was a beast month, with that in mind everybody was anticipating big numbers, analysts were predicting numbers from 2.7-3million+, then NPD comes in and numbers are 1.2 million less then VGChartz predicted.

We will see next Q sales tho, and we'll only know for sure if MS doesnt give a pricecut to 360 this Q.

PS2 did 4.7 million last year, it only has to do another 3.5 this year and 2 next year.

3.5 this year? It's expected to do 4 for this FY (3 Q's of last year) with Sony noting that PS2 sales in developing countries are slowing faster than they expected (something like that, will try and find a link) I doubt they're going to forecast anything above 2.5 for the next FY.

Well, it really depends on what you class as 'close' a bad but likely scenario is they only expect 2m for the coming FY, down 2m YOY, but after that you have to wonder if they'll keep a product in production when it's selling under 2m units per year.
