Forums - Nintendo - How long do you think it will be before they show something Pokemon Grey related?

September 2012 in Japan and early 2013 in the west. I doubt it will be Pokemon Grey, though. So far special editions always released one year after the originals. The 3DS had a very rough first year. I wouldn't be surprised if we got an entirely new Pokemon game for 3DS as that would have a way bigger effect on hardware sales.

I agree, Nintendo is all in with the 3DS now, it is doubtful they will attempt to try to release  another DS game this late even if it is Pokemon as the third in generavtion V.

But then again, the 3DS needs a Pokemon game, maybe they will release a stand alone title or remake another generation.

I'm thinking they will announce a pokemon Sapphire/Ruby remake for the 3DS at E3 2012. I really don't want them to release a Pokemon Gray, but if they do I think it will be exclusive to the DS.

i wanna say at the next e3, but if memory serves me, they've never done that. We know japan will be the 1st to have news on it, so i'd say sometime after e3

Umegames E3 is going to be.packed. Nintendo will dominate E3 if nextbox or PS4 is coming in 2013 winter.Microsoft and Sony should not have more then teasers to show for Next Gen their hardware might steal some of the show.

But Nintendo will have a massive line up for WiiU both first and third party. But 3DS is supposedly going to see a new model unveiled too. If this is true Nintendo will have their hands beyond full. Nintendo losing E3 this year will be next to impossible and Pokemon wouldn't get the attention it deserves or needs.

Nintendo will have way to many games at E3. Wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a bigger E3 then anything we have seen in years. Nintendo is desperate to return to profitability and E3 is their big opportunity to not only reassure investors but retailers and consumers.

My bet Nintendo will show 6-8 new 3DS first party games alongside 8-10 first party WiiU titles. Alongside another 50 or so.third party WiiU titles and another 40-60 third party 3DS games. Nintendo will have video for every first party title to.launch within the 2012 fiscal year alongside brief footage of almost every exclusive launch window third party title. GTA5 will likely also be present. Plus the WiiU hardware and possibly 3DS new model for release in 2013.

Nintendo can and will dominate E3.
