They are, its called Dragon Quest
OT, it wasnt a bad game, but man you couldnt get the most out of it unless you had that GBA connectivity and that was a bitch to get
That was a flaw, yes, but surprisingly I enjoyed it on single player mode o.O idk maybe it was because I was a Selkie heheh!
Happy birthday amazing game, and I hope to see a proper sequel on the wiiU as soon as possible!
I really liked this game back then, I remember I got this game along with several other gamecube games (Including windwaker -aka- late adopter) and I really really loved. At first I bought it because it was a FF game after all, but after playing it for a while I just felt in love with it. The art style of game was simply gorgeous, the setting and the races (Yukes FTW) and the music amazing to say the least. I still remember a few moggles I painted like the flag of my country haha.
One thing that happens to me very often is that everytime a game has a nice opening song/intro, I have to watch it... And FFCC has one the best op I have ever seen, pure magic, traveller's tales, adventure... sorry I love the game too much I guess...
I have lots of great memories from this game, but they're all very foggy. I really enjoyed the levels, music, characters weapons and Bosses! However, it was very repetitive, so I didn't play it for too long.
@Oniyide ya gotta agree their the fun was largely in coop. Luckily I lived in a foster home and I let my foster brothers play on my GCN. They all had GBA's so I got to play coop every day. I loved playing single player but it was often to train for coop.
I also am aware of Dragon Quest. Haven't played them though so wasn't thinking of them. I have heard the Dragon Qiest series with Nintendo's help is the best it has ever been. I would say larger cooperation would really benefit both companies. An original IP by a joint studio would be ground breaking.
In fact Nintendo should learn from their success. Create coop studios with other major publishers. In Japan NamcoBandai, Capcom and possibly Konami would be great companies > to create joint studios.North America could benefit as well maybe a coop studio with EA or Ubi maybe Activision.

Oh and of course a Sega/Nintendo studio would be amazing. I know Miyamoto and Nintendo reps have been involved in Sega's Nintendo licensed games and of course NamcoBandai's bit joint studios could create amazing exclusives from both established franchises as well as new exclusive IP.

That'd be cool. I just want to see a main Tales of entry on the Wii U from BanNam. Nintendo should just buy Sega already.
