I want to buy the Vita but I have some questions.
If I buy any US model with 3G then it's possible to use a SIM card with a 3G service from here (Brazil) like the iPhone 5 works here???
Does the 3G model have Wi-Fi too???

That's cheaper than the Japanese standalone WiFi version. :P
Why is everything in America so damn cheap?
No wonder all companies are making losses...
Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/
$35 for the 8GB and $15 for the 250MB Data Plan. That leaves us with a $5 PSN to add it all up to a $55 value.
A $5 PSN game... I guess that means forget about Escape Plan.
I don't want no crap game!
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Ok, from what I have been reading I need a few questions answered.
#1.) Is it true the 250MB Date Pass is only valid if you already pay for 1-month of 3G data?
#2.) Is it true that the "Free PSN Game" is only valid is you sign up for 1-month of 3G data?
If these are true then screw the stupid 3G model and it's bogus "extras".

Yes, it has WiFi.
I can't answer whether you can use your SIM card from another device with it though. With a hack or jailbreak, I suppose anything's possible.
Without the hack, if I had to guess I would say no, although now you have me wondering what will happen if I put my AT&T SIM card from my iPhone into the PSV.

I'm guessing the assumption is that anyone who buys a 3G model is at least planning on trying the data service initially. Since there's no contract involved, it can be used same as a "pay as you go" data plan like the iPad 3G.
I don't plan on renewing, but then again, I also don't plan on buying another PSV in the instance where I buy a WiFi model only to find there's actually something worth using the 3G service for.
Worse case scenario, I paid an extra $20 for a feature I'm not using.
