Forums - Gaming - New Assassin's Creed will be the largest ever

"Grand theft auto requires automobiles, I have major gaps in history, so not sure if they had invented Fiat's and such in 1600s Italy"

I meant its open world design and such.

I think AC3 will automatically do better then Revelations. I think most people saw Revelations as a spin off. Brotherhood did well due to Goodwill from AC2 and the fact it is a solid game.

Revelations sales in the end are not that bad will be down about 20% from Brotherhood.

I think a lot of the mainstream gamers will come and get AC3 if its a full solid epic game like AC2.

Wonder how this game will be since we will be playing as Desmond

lol I'm already tiered of Assassins and i still haven't played any of the games. is there a game every year or am I wrong?

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

There is another rumour going on that it would be set in American Revolution. Should be quite interesting.

I'll be starting myself in next Assassin's Creed game, from you that play it, what can you say about the gameplay, with wich game is it similar?

its important to remember that this year we are getting 2 different FULL games, one for PS3,360,PC AND a new game thats isn't just a side story spin off on the Vita according to Ubisoft, both will have new heroes

I like this series, its been a treat to see each installment improve one way or another, but i'm ready for it to die as well, let this be the last.

ubisoft stop milking the franchise

add some innovation

add something new to the series

and stop it with those ancestors, i want to use desmond to chop some templars.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Brotherhood was good but it's time for a new protagonist/hero, a new timeline and setting. Paris or London during the Napoleonic Wars? Vienna for the Austrian Succession or China's Boxer Rebellion? Ubi's options seem endless but they need a carefully documented crises in a city they can faithfully recreate. I'll continue buying the IP late when prices drop but SecondWar's comments on Revelations are disturbing. If they're not careful ACII will remain the high water mark.

You mind elaborating on this?

Sorry.  Just noticed this.  You were saying it was a cut below the rest of the series and might have been based on a portable build.  I'll be getting it eventually anyway but with KoA: Reckoning, ME3 and Witcher 2 lined up it can wait for a while.  I find it disturbing the IP seems headed in the wrong direction.  I'm sure Just Dance is just great but AC is a major franchise for Ubi and a lot closer to my ideal game.  No offense intended.
