News desk is news from other sites, so it's not really anything to do with VGC ...
Basically what Seece said, nothing to do with VGC itself.
Also, even if it was, getting news translated properly in all modern languages is close to impossible.

VGChartz is a British based website so that is probably why English is the main language. Spanish has more speakers than English though.
