Well considering the previous title, were both in the high 80's (86% meta for 2nd one, 89% for the first one), i dont think it will be a surprise that the third installment will also be in the high 80's...

In fact i think most gamers have high expectations for the game despite the radical change in setting and aesthetics.

I remember when the Force Unleashed devs were making a big deal out of this. Then the Guerrilla Games emphasized their own version of this tech during Killzone 2's development.

That's one thing that annoyed me about Uncharted 3. When you shot people, they weren't phased at all until they suddenly dropped dead.

Edit:

The gif right above me reminds me a lot of Vanquish.  Whenever your suit would start to overheat and your perception of reality would slow down.  It made hitting enemies absurdly easy.
