They may show a game that is in development but not coming out for launch which would probably look better than PS3 graphics. The launch title s will be PS3 like quality.

(sorry for the double post.) Wow! That game looks really good. Though the child looks kind of odd compared to the rest of the world. Is this one of Sony's remastered classics? Or a new game?

This is true, but I think that launch games have always been ATLEAST just as good if not alway better than the best looking games on previous gen. I see no reason why devs couldnt be able to do games on par with ps3/360 just because the console is new.
Also I know Nintendo doesnt have the reputation of having the best graphics, but when you look at it 1st party games on Nintendo consoles they have always been gorgeous. Nintendo always take benefit of their machine as much as possible, Super Mario Galaxy2 is looking as beautifull as any other HD games, Metroid on Wii and especialy on the GC was looking great even when compared to games on stronger consoles, same thing with twilight princess on the GC. Metroid Other M is a other example of a rly good looking game on a rly crappy console, even SS looked great (IMO).
So I think Nintendo might surprise us with a gorgeous 1st party game, especialy because they keep insisting on the WiiU being HD so they will certainly show a game that can show to everyone what the WiiU is capable of when it comes to full 1080p HD gaming. Personaly, I think that if the Zelda HD demo were to be a actual game for 2012, it would win. That demo had insane graphics, better than any other games mentioned in this thread considering that it was gameplay footages. Sure Last of Us looked good on the trailer, but hold your horses, that was a CGI trailer, we've seen no gameplay footage yet, knowing Naughty Dog im sure it will be gorgeous but not as good looking as in the trailer.
So if you cut all the CGI crap and consider only gameplay footages, nothing come close to the Zelda HD demo, thats why its safe to say that we should wait for E3 and see what 1st party games Nintendo has to offer us before making a prediction.
What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)
Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)
Common sense says Metro for PC and Last of Us for console.

Yes, Nintendo games have always been beautiful and colorful. But don't think that their first party games are going to show their best for the launch. Nintendo will probably wait to wow us with the Wii U Super Smash Bros. game. That would probably look amazing.

Sorry but if you aren't controlling the game that isn't gameplay footage. Was pretty obvious that they couldn't be controlling the game since the animations were too out there. So that's a trailer using ingame graphics or in-engine (touched up a bit since it isn't actually during the game), which is the same as every Uncharted Game ever and most likely will end up the same for Last of Us.
