Graphics are pretty amazing especially for a first generation 3ds game. I will most likely play with control style C if I don't get the add-on. Type A really sucks since you can't move while aiming didn't bother to try B. I don't think there will ever be a game that I could use the gyro scope as a permanent control scheme for aiming. Day one definitely.

I agree the textures, lighting affects, and polygons are all plentiful and make it look and play really good. Thats possibly why I'm scared of it XD

Is it good or bad that the game scares you?

Either way though, Dead Space 1 would probably make you die xD

Good because if it didn't scare me at all and it's called a horror game that would be bad, bad news XD

I was just wondering what you meant by this.  I am pretty sure the 3DS and Wii both launched with shop channels.  I am not 100% since I didn't buy the systems at launch but I am pretty sure the shops were there from the start.  Did you mean feature like downloading demos?

The 3DS's eShop has been only available since June, through a firmware update.

Still though, it's odd that somebody uses this a point for why the system isn't future-proof. If anything, it only proves that the 3DS can be updated and receive new features down the line.

They did some pretty critical updates for the Wii also during it's lifetime.  The SD card channel being number 1 on my list.  That should have been there from the start but at least they added it later.

I hope it is a new Demo not the one on mercenaries I already played that demo countless times.

The Mercenaries demo was pretty awful in terms of what you were able to do. Even so, I also played it countless times which is probably more of an indicator of me not having anything better to play on the 3DS than anything else. Graphics were top notch though.

Odd thing about the new demo (which is excellent BTW) is that it looks like it has a preset number of times it can be played (30). I'm assuming after that it just becomes dead space on your SD card.

Weird. I can't think of any other platform that restricted the number of plays for demos.

Yeah it doesn't really make since. Maybe they don't want you to spoil it? XD

In the past has Nintendo ever done demos? No. They have basically just started to do this. I think they are not too sure about it yet. I know for those WW games that are demos, I play the demo and that is it. They need to make it limited play because of people like me. I kid you not, if I had a demo of Skryim or Zelda that only lasted an hour, I would not buy the game. Why? Just how I am I guess. Maybe if it went on super sale or something, then I would think about it. WW and 3DS games.....nope, not a chance.

What are you meaning by WW? WiiWare? Have you played the demo yet?

No, but if I do that is one less sale for Capcom and Nintendo. And yes, Wii Ware.

Why does playing a demo make you not want to buy the game?

I feel that I have already played it I guess. Seems like a waste of money, especially since I am lucky if I buy a game a month'at is new.

Speaking of games, just got MW3 Wii! Will open it up in  a few days.

Cool! I hope you have a good time with it.

Understandable.

Downloaded and played the demo. I gotta say that I think this game looks even better than Resident Evil: 4. That's no small feat, as RE:4 looks better than almost every other game last generation. Heck, this even looks better than most games on the Wii, and like a previous poster mentioned, this is a first generation 3DS title too.

This makes me excited to see just how far developers can push the 3DS.

I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!

Visually very impressive indeed.

Yay I don't have to buy that terrible Mercenaries cash grab game to play the Revelations demo.

Mercenaries was actually pretty good if you're into that. I played it for nearly 100 hours.

I don't understand the "not futureproof" complaint either. Nintendo has been doing nothing but adding new features since the 3DS debuted.

In addition to the eShop, they added the Nintendo Video channel, nintendo zone and swapnote. Firmware updates are as easy as any console.

If anything, the 3DS launch has been more like the PS3's than anything else. Started out overpriced and underfeatured; quickly dropped price and continues to add new functionality as the library expands.
