wow some people look real dumb now, attacking and making fun of another user, when in fact he was right.

Keep it up, can't wait to see you banned again

If anyone is interested, the EDD has made over $3.5b profit since the 360 started profiting in 2008.

I think the likely hood of PS3 winning the year is high now, I admit. MS shipped a lot to refill shelfs Q1, so that kinda skus the picture when MS shipments are higher.

Unless Sony go and ship 6.5m PS3's then it's still up in the air. But pretty sure they'll do 7.xx

why?

people went on the attact (the usual suspects), they were being arogant and demeaning with their comments acted as if what they said was fact, and what the other person said was impossible and stupid. it always seems like it the same few people with their condesending smug remarks.

OT: WOW microsoft had a great quarter/year.... tons and tons of profits

Its interesting that retailers ordered 200k systems in the first week of Jan when they couldn't move for stock isn't it?

you conclude that from Ballmer's "over 66million" ?

Don't you think Ballmer just might have assumed so from preliminary numbers, which showed they "could" be over 66m, but in the end when all the calculations were done they weren't  ?

Yeah your sentiments are right, and I apoligsed to Pezus, doesn't mean you can call people dumb though (and it isn't dumb, this was still an unlikely scenario despite it actually happening, going by last years events)

It was one of those situations were a fan of the opposite team predicted something unfavourable and got lucky.

They knew exactly how many 360's went out the door before Dec 31st.

It's either them adding early Jan shipments, or a combo of both rounding and shipments.

And retailers can usually return parts of their overstock within a certain time frame (depending on what contract they signed when they ordered the consoles).
