Forums - Sony - Media Molecule spend £4.1m ($6.28m) on R&D,

i don't want them to leave LBP behind but that is defiantly a once a generation type title (with occasional dlc)

what i can't understand i how they blew through that much money on R&D. with only 50 people that's a hell of a good wage they must all be making. :P

I would not be surprise if their next game has a RPG focus, because they came from Lionheads; they had RPG experience, and Sony needs such a studio. Of course, with a Media Molecule twist.

I'd be amazed if it was a RPG.

RPG would be very nice to help revitalize the UK studios. This generation, the Uk studios did do jack squad.

I thihk its a good choice. LBP is a fun community game but a boring platformer. I am in no way hyped for 3 and only played to 2nd for a day.

A new character based game would be welcomed.

I also agree, I come here for the sales and the good community . I go elsewere for my gaming news. OT: this is good news, although the two LBP games were exceptional and received excellent reviews. It will be hard to keep the games fresh. A LBP game every generation would be perfect imo.
