Sony itself didn't produce so many great MP's in a game this gen. (Other than Uncharted 3, Killzone series and Resistance series.) But with Starhawk and Twisted Metal things could really change.

Depends how you look at it though.

I play Killzone 2&3, UC3 (albeit a lot loved 2 and still do), GT5 and LBP2 weekly. I used to play Warhawk to death until Killzone 2 launched. So yeah Starhawk will deliver in that regard for me, I'm sure ^^. Twisted will too be loads of fun.

I haven't played Warhawk and don't like LBP. And I forgot to add GT5.

Already got it pre-ordered. I actually can't wait for Valentine's this year. I get something instead of just having to buy the wife something.

I will be watching it, will be waiting for reviews before I decide to jump in. Anyway Twisted Metal like Burnout and Kart Racers are the only games with any racing mechanics at all that I can enjoy so I thank them.

Former something....

I would be a bit cautious of single player mode since Jaffe said you shouldn't buy the game if your just going to do single player, I'm assuming it is quality just short.

Yeah looking like it's gonna be real good. So many people were doubting the quality this game would have in the beginning based on early footage/graphics; but Jaffe has proved his capabilities with his past work, so I had faith from the beginning. Hopefully it truly does turn out to be the same Twisted Metal quality we know (or better; we'll take better, too).

It looks 10 times more mental than all the other TM games put together and they were pretty crazy..

Yeah but I'm kind of confused why he said that. He also says in the same quote that it's more varied than any other TM game, and mentions great bosses, cutscenes, story, etc. It doesn't seem he means campaign length as the main negative; seems like he's pointing more to the campaign quality. But everything else he says indicates otherwise. Idk, seems contradictory to me. Wonder if he just has such an attachment to the multiplayer portion (bc of how much work they've put into it) that he cringes at the thought of people playing the campaign without touching the multi. Anyways, guess we'll just have to see, but I expect the campaign to be good.

Yea, I never got that.  It was obvious what they showed at E3 2010 was just an early build.  I guess I'm not as much of a graphics whore as I thought I was.

Haha yeah. I definitely love me some sexy graphics, but they also aren't everything. Think I realized this most after playing inFAMOUS 2.
