Couldnt see the first video so I'm not sure what your comparing, although is that the actual framerate in the 2nd video or was it just badly recorded o.o?

Hmm that’s weird it works fine for me but you should search for the e3 2010 demo on youtube

I’m talking about the graphics they showed us then and what we are getting now. It’s just a ported version of the PS2 game with some added stuff. I don’t get why it has taken them so long to even get the game out if it’s just a port.

Oh ya I remember seeing that demo, ya I see it now, damn it really is a port just the design changes with the controller showing a 3DS xD!

Well Kojima once tweeted that he had lost a years worth of work so it could be that…

I was really desapoint when they showed the PS2 build

Owning a 360......... and knowing that the HD collection is just around the corner for the UK, it's gonna be a NO from me when it comes to MGS3 3DS.

Resident Evil: Revelations has all my attention right now when it comes to the 3DS.

Bought my 3DS a few days back......... and i have to say, its a FANTASTIC system.

I agree with you, except Capcom have nothing to do with this.  It actually releases the week directly after the HD colection does in Europe.

Now really, when you have the 3DS version of just MGS3 on the shelf for £35 in a store, a few wall sections along you get MGS2, 3 and Peace Walker for £30...what sort of sales do they expect for 3DS?

Must have had Capcom hate on my mind or something.  Meant to say Konami.

@d21lewis : it's easy to have some hate to Capcom ;) At least with their annual updates of their games, or in case of MvsC 3: nine months update.

Bad played for Konami, i believed they would do more than a port, anyway... i'm already preordered it.

This days i don't have enough time to play an HD collection (i'll still get it) but i sure want to play MGS on the go, i really like to play Peace Walker on my way home, so hope it'll be the same for MGS: Snake Eater 3D.

i loved the original on PS2 but strangely i am not sure it will be a day one purchase for me...

I think I am still have too many game sto play before this.

The HD Collection would have been perfect except it does not have Metal Gear Solid.....
So its not a real collection at all, this port to the Nintendo 3DS is pretty good.
Nintendo has not gotten its own Metal Gear Solid game for a long time, I hope for the Nintendo Wii U
Konami brings Metal Gear back to Nintendo in a real way...
Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3DS is still worth the try at least.

If people buy this over the MGS HD collection which costs the same I'll be insanely disappointed with the consumer. Then again it's not like that means anything.

Damn Konami dropped the ball, what kind of HD Collection is that if it doesnt have the original MGS!!?!


I really don't understand it either.  I feel they should've included either the original, or the Twin Snakes remake, or even both wouldn't have been too much to ask.  I don't see any logic behind the decision.
