Good lord these numbers are horrible! I don't understand how November sales for the 360 were the same as December...makes no sense at all.

This year has been a weird one.

You're not a true poster on VGC unless you suffer from a severe case of foot in mouth disease.

3M on shelves isn't just unlikely, it's improbable. NPD only covers NA, so either the numbers are off (highly unlikely) or it just means the 360 sold more units in EU.

Or we need to wait the shipment number next week.

The only intelligent thing to do really.

Maths...

360 = 1700K
Wii = 1060K
PS3 = 940K
3DS = 1600K? or more.
NDS = 500K? over 440K
PSP = 190K under 200k
PS2 = ???

That's only 6 million... to 6.3 million I guess PS2 sold crazy numbers .

If the shipment figure is in line with what Balmer said then it's just going to be even more confusing.  Hard to believe they could stuff the channel so much as most of the Sony sales fans can appreciate from the 2009 holiday period.

What I think is going on is that since Vgchartz is full of emea ps fans they just can't imagine 360 selling welling anywhere outside of the US, even though MS said they would be focusing more on emea and advertising more there. MS' ad dollars go a long way, just look at what it did for the US in 2010 and 2011.
